Tulum Mexico is a site about a place I love, Tulum, the best place in the Mayan Riviera.

The site’s aim is to share with friends from around the world information, reviews and comments on cabanas, hotels, beaches, beach clubs, developments and all the services you need to decide your perfect beach holiday or your retreat.

I want to encourage people to participate in the Tulum Mexico community, sending reviews, posting comments and sharing information on what is going in Tulum, what are the new spots or services, and all that is relevant for tourists and future residents.

I have been living in Mexico for 9 years now (since 2003), working in Mexico City and getting away to Tulum whenever I can.  I am currently building my apartment in Tulum for eventual future retirement, so I hope I will visit Tulum even more often next year (construction is estimated to be completed by April 2012).

I am an ex-banker, advertising agency junkie and now an internet executive. I’m a foodie, a wine lover but most of all somebody who cannot stand an all-inclusive hotel and its screaming-cheap-liquor-drinking crowds.
