Zama Village is the first premium condo development of Aldea Zama.  Zama Village is a three-storey building  surrounding a tropical garden and a long pool.  The development features 2-bedroom 2-bathrooms apartments, most of them with a terrace and jacuzzi (there are only 2 bigger 3-bedroom apartments).  The ones in the third level feature a ample rooftop with open air jacuzzi and barbecue place.   The construction quality is very good, using the natural materials (wood, stone, thatched roofs) required by the strict construction rules of Aldea Zama.

Some 17 of the 32 condos were already sold, even when the construction works are expected to finish in May 2012.   The condos prices at the lower level start at $190.000, though due to the success of the project prices may already be up by 10%.

The Zama Village condos are expected to enjoy a high rental income as they are the first condos of its type in the area.

Aldea Zama is the real estate project that is about to transform Tulum.  This big development located between the Tulum town and the beach aims at replacing the downtown area as the main location for both residential and commercial projects.

The development takes into account strict construction rule, enforcing the usage of materials like stone, wood and thatched roofs.  Aldea Zama offers commercial, single residential and condominium lots in three differentiated areas.  The project makes a lot of sense, as the Tulum town is not attractive at all.   Another factor boding well for value appreciation is the fact that the Tulum airport will start being constructed in 2011-2012, avoiding the current trip from the Cancun airport (90 minutes).
